At St. Angela Merici it is our joy and mission to help our children and youth grow in their Catholic faith and prepare to receive the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation. These moments are powerful encounters with Christ that strengthen both the individual and the entire parish community.

Each year, however, we have families who face financial hardships that make it difficult to cover the fees for sacramental preparation. We never want finances to be an obstacle for a child or teen’s journey toward the sacraments.

To help, we are inviting our parish family to prayerfully consider sponsoring a First Communion or Confirmation candidate. A full sponsorship would cover the program fees. 

First Communion year 1: $110.00

First Communion year 2: $165.00

Confirmation year 1: $250.00

Confirmation year 2: $350.00

However, any contribution is a blessing and will go directly toward helping a young disciple continue their faith journey.

If you feel called to sponsor or contribute, please contact Cynthia Vargas at 562-217-0496 or turn in your Sacramental Sponsorship Form into the parish office via cash, check or credit card.
